A bit about reversed Tarot cards
It's surprising how many Tarot readers don't use the cards in reverse. Until very recently, I was one of those readers. A friend of mine asked me why I didn't use them, and to be honest, I didn't really have an answer. So, I did my homework, mediated with my cards, and feel much more confident about using them in reverse.
There's a lot of negativity and bad press surrounding reversed tarot cards. This is really a shame because a reversed card can bring a new depth to a reading. It's can show clearly the obstacles that might be blocking a certain path that somebody is on, and consequently, how they may be able to overcome those obstacles.
A reversed card can show an 'internal' or 'hidden' obstacle, and bring it out into the open. You see, another positive! It means that the obstacle is brought out in plain sight. Reversed cards really aren't negative or give an opposite message. It can simply mean that a certain energy influence is receding, ebbing away.
I hope this goes a small way to making you feel better about using reversed Tarot cards in readings. I'd love to hear how you feel about them and how you interpret them. Feel free to comment.
